Summary – Summer School in Wiele
From September 24 to 26, the seventh edition of the Summer School organized by the Department of Environmental Design took place. This time we traveled to Wiele in the Kashubia region at the invitation of Sylva, a company specializing in the production of pine structural and façade elements as well as garden accessories. We visited Forest District in Bartel Mały, the Sylva sawmill and prototype hall, and learned about the challenges of building with CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber) technology.
