Mateusz Płudowski Wins the Inspireli Awards 2025
We are pleased to announce that Mateusz Płudowski has won the Inspireli Awards 2025 in the Interior Design category. The award ceremony took place on October 6 in Prague, bringing together young designers from around the world.
"Wieloświaty" Exhibition by prof. Jan Buczkowski
Until October 12, the Marszałkowska 18 Art Gallery in Warsaw is hosting a unique exhibition titled “Multiverses” by Prof. Jan Buczkowski. It is an opportunity to experience timeless painting, where landscape, abstraction, and nature intertwine to form parallel worlds.

Notice of passing of the late Maciej Przewoźniak
We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our colleague, Maciej Przewoźniak (aged 70), PhD., DSc., in Natural Sciences, a long-time member of the Faculty of Architecture, and a distinguished expert in the fields of nature conservation, environmental impact assessment, and landscape protection.
Between 1994 and 2007, Maciej Przewoźniak shared his extensive knowledge, critical thinking, and practical experience with successive generations of Architecture students.
Our students have become finalists in an international competition
Students from our Faculty — Ms. Justyna Wojdyło and Ms. Ada Żurańska — have become finalists in an international competition whose main goal was to design a modular prototype of a school.
We warmly congratulate the finalists on this significant achievement, and we encourage everyone to take a look at the awarded competition project.

Cairo University Delegation at the Faculty of Architecture at Gdańsk Tech
The week-long visit of Cairo-based urban planners—engaged both in teaching and in research on various spatial planning issues—was dedicated to the topics of port city urbanism and the revitalisation of waterfronts in historic metropolitan centres. The guests explored the historical city of Gdańsk, including the redeveloping post-shipyard areas, as well as the city centre of Gdynia.
New mural compositions in the Main Building elevator shaft
New mural compositions have been created across two floors of the elevator shaft in the Main Building of Gdańsk University of Technology. The works were carried out by fourth-semester undergraduate students from the Faculty of Architecture as part of the elective course Art in Space, led by Professor Jan Buczkowski and Dr. Edyta Urwanowicz from the Department of Visual Arts.
