SARP Award for Members of Our Faculty!

Winners of the SARP competition

We are proud to announce that two staff members from the Department of Urban and Regional Design — Dr. Eng. Arch. Monika Arczyńska and Dr. Eng. Arch. Łukasz Pancewicz — together with the A2P2 architecture&planning team (in collaboration with the Warsaw-based studio mamArchitekci), have received The Association of Polish Architects (SARP) Award for the best architectural projects completed in Poland in 2024.

Perspektywy 2025 Study Program Ranking
Gdańsk University of Technology ranked 3rd among technical universities and 5th among all academic institutions in Poland in the 2025 Perspektywy University Ranking.

The Faculty of Architecture at Gdańsk University of Technology was recognized as the best in Poland in this year’s edition of the Perspektywy 2025 Study Program Ranking. Organized continuously since 2000, the ranking helps high school graduates choose their field of study and the universities where they want to continue their education.

Winners Announced for the "Architecture in Wood" and "Architect-Engineer Vision" Competitions

Winners of Sylva and the Tricity Branch of the Polish Association of Real Estate Developers competitions
Two competitions for the best engineering diplomas of the academic year 2024/25 were concluded. Those competitions were organized in cooperation between the Faculty of Architecture at Gdańsk University of Technology, the company Sylva, and the Tricity Branch of the Polish Association of Real Estate Developers.

The best engineering diploma awards

Winners of the best engineering diploma competition by the Chamber of Architects of the Republic of Poland and he Association of Polish Architects
Last week, the Pomeranian Regional Chamber of Architects of the Republic of Poland and the Association of Polish Architects, Wybrzeże Branch, selected the best engineering theses defended in the 2024/25 academic year at the Faculty of Architecture of Gdańsk University of Technology in the Architecture and Spatial Management programs.

Ten projects were awarded, and ten received honorable mentions:

Official Transfer of Architectural Documentation to the Association of Polish Architects

On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, Dean Prof. Jakub Szczepański, officially handed over the architectural survey of the Golden Gate to Ms. Natalia Balcerzak, Architect and President of the Gdańsk Branch of the Association of Polish Architects (SARP), on behalf of Gdańsk University of Technology and its Faculty of Architecture.

The latest edition of the largest European survey on student life – EUROSTUDENT IX – is underway. We encourage students of Gdańsk University of Technology to participate in the Polish edition of this international project, which aims to analyze the socio-economic conditions of studying and compare them with those in nearly 30 European countries.

Dear All,

We would like to invite you to an event celebrating the Faculty of Architecture Day. As every year, on this occasion we are organizing the “Sandcastle Contest,” where you’ll have the chance to showcase your skills and creativity. Those who wish to take part in the competition are kindly asked to bring along sand building equipment  – such as shovels, buckets, etc.

Because of the Faculty Day, dean’s hours (free from classes) will be in effect from 12:00 to 16:30.

1. Home: How We Live in Pomerania

A short conversation about what a home is, the different forms it can take, the patterns and styles that accompany it, what it contains, and what surrounds it. We’ll discuss how a home sounds and what it smells like. Who lives in it? We will show examples of various types of homes from different places. As part of the workshop, each participant will create their own home—either following a pattern or using their imagination.
