Award for Students of the Faculty of Architecture in the Young Architects Competitions

Project awarded in the Young Architects Competitions

We are pleased to announce that Patryk Tkaczyk and Łukasz Tkaczyk have been awarded in the Young Architects Competitions.

The competition project focused on Djúpivogur – a site defined by the striking contrast between Iceland’s raw natural landscape and the mechanical geometry of an abandoned runway. Our students designed observational infrastructure that integrates non-invasively into the sensitive ecosystem serving as a habitat for the Arctic tern.
