It is worth mentioning that Mr. Olszewski is also a finalist in the Competition for Young Architects organized by Builder for the Future. This is the second recent recognition of our students’ work.
The defense will take place on November 12, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the conference room of the Hydromechanics building (Building No. 11). The title of the dissertation is: „Prussian coastal fortifications from 1815-1914 in the area of the present Poland. Spatial forms, transformations and conservation issues”. The supervisor of the dissertation is Ph.D., D.Sc., Eng. Arch. Robert Hirsch, Professor at Gdańsk Tech.

The inaugural speech was delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Professor Jakub Szczepański, who presented the Faculty's activities and successes over the past few years. It was also an opportunity to outline the ambitious plans the Faculty will face in the nearest future.
