Architecture Students Achieve Success in National Lighting Design Competition
Recognition for Gdansk Tech Students' Project: In a nationwide competition for creative lighting design, students from the Faculty of Architecture at Gdansk Tech were recognized for their innovative solutions. The competition, organized by the Polish Lighting Industry Association in collaboration with SOMA Agency and local architects, aimed to create avant-garde lighting designs for commercial spaces.
About the Project: The work titled "Quatro iluminare," authored by Kacper Bernat, Oliwia Kłos, and Mateusz Fuks, received accolades for its modularity and aesthetic design. The project addresses the needs of modern urban spaces and was developed during an experimental seminar led by Dr. Eng. Arch. Karolina Zielińska-Dąbkowska. The seminar focused on the challenges of designing lighting in public and commercial spaces.
Practical Experience: Students had the opportunity not only to delve into the theoretical aspects of lighting design but also to apply LED technology practically, resulting in the creation of functional prototypes.
More Information: Details about the competition and other distinguished projects can be found on the International Light Fair website.
Congratulations to the Students: Heartfelt congratulations to the team and wishes for continued success in developing their passion and design skills.
