Attention architecture students!

Registration for the International VELUX Award has been extended to April 14, 2024
Architecture students who would like to participate in the international competition International VELUX Award 2024, but have not managed to register yet, still have time.
The registration deadline has been moved to April 14th.
This is the 11th edition of the largest global architectural competition, which from the beginning has been very popular among Polish students, who have already stood on the podium five times!
Projects, after prior registration, must be submitted by May 30, in one of two categories - "Natural Light in Buildings" or "Research on Natural Light".

The registration deadline is April 14, 2024

• You can apply individually or as a team
• The team can also include students from other fields
• Every student or team applying for the competition should have their academic supervisor
• Registration is a condition for participation in the competition

Distinguished jury
The students' work will be judged by a world-famous jury, including: EWA KURYŁOWICZ (POLAND), JENNI REUTER (FINLAND), SONG YEHAO (CHINA), ALBERTO VEIGA (SPAIN), KENT HOLM (DENMARK)

Valuable prizes

• The total prize pool is 30,000 euros. Prizes are awarded to students and academic supervisors.
• The global competition results and presentation of the winners during the World Architecture Festival.

The main theme of the competition - the role of daylight in architecture
Works can be submitted in two categories: "Natural Light in Buildings" and "Research on Natural Light"

Competition schedule

• April 14, 2024: closure of the online registration of participants
• May 30, 2024: final deadline for project submission
• June 2024: announcement of regional winners
• August 26-30, 2024: workshop and presentation of works by regional winners and announcement of global winners
