Gdańsk University of Technology The Faculty of Architecture together with the Young Lubusz Association in Sulęcin and the Rzeszów Regional Development Agency are starting the project "Available School - innovative solutions in creating a friendly educational space considering the needs of students and the environment.

The project will be implemented from January 2020 to May 2023.

The aim of the project:

90 primary schools will undergo comprehensive audits and will receive individual accessibility improvement plans on the basis of which local governments will receive support in the form of grants to improve the architectural accessibility of buildings, transport, purchase of equipment and teaching aids and funds for activities aimed at raising the awareness and competence of teachers and school specialists.

Gdańsk University of Technology is responsible for the substantive part of the project implementation, related to the development of the universal Available School Model, and then the support of schools during the innovation testing stage.
