O wykładzie After the earthquake historic city Antakya
Antakya, Hatay, is one of the most destroyed cities in Turkey in the earthquakes that took place on February 6 and 2023. This historic city, which has suffered countless major earthquakes in its history and has been destroyed and rebuilt many times, lost almost 85% of its buildings in the February earthquakes. One of the main topics of this seminar is the reasons why an earthquake that is known to occur in Antakya, which has a unique natural structure as well as a unique social, economic and cultural structure, can cause such a great destruction. In addition, what happened in Antakya during the earthquake and what has been done in the 4 months since the earthquake will be discussed.
