Eco-Tree at Faculty of Architecture | The Faculty of Architecture at the Gdańsk University of Technology

Colourful paper, fragments of urban models, Christmas ornaments — and plenty of architectural imagination.

That’s how this year’s Eco-Tree at the Faculty of Architecture, Gdańsk University of Technology, came to life. Created in a zero-waste spirit, it is made entirely from materials used every day in design and studio work. The project is a faculty initiative and the result of a shared effort by students and staff.

The tree is located near Room 318 — everyone is warmly invited to add their own decoration and become part of this tree-mendously green Christmas project.

Meanwhile, in front of the Main Building, the ceremonial lighting of the PG Eco-Tree took place. Prepared by students and staff of the University, it stands as a symbol of the holiday tradition of the entire academic community.
