The best diploma theses on the development of Gdynia | The Faculty of Architecture at the Gdańsk University of Technology

We are very pleased to announce that graduates of the Faculty of Architecture at Gdańsk University of Technology have been distinguished in this year’s edition of the Mayor of the City of Gdynia Competition for the Best Diploma Thesis on the City – 2025 edition. The Competition Jury awarded distinctions to:

1. Ms Agnieszka Kowalik for the thesis entitled “The Gdynia Creativity Hub as an Element of Urban Development.”
   Supervisor: Prof. Lucyna Nyka, DSc, PhD, Eng., Arch.

2. Mr Michał Ryplewicz for the thesis entitled “Issues of Transport Nodes in Urban Systems.”
   Supervisor: Jan Cudzik, PhD, Eng., Arch.

The ceremonial presentation of the distinctions took place on 10 December 2025 at the Gdynia City Hall building.
