ENHANCE Thematic Paths – plan your mobility with guaranteed ECTS recognition
Thematic Paths enable you to:
• spend one or two semesters at an ENHANCE partner university,
• enrol in pre-approved courses with guaranteed ECTS recognition,
• combine semester mobility with thesis co-supervision, a research stay, or short-term mobility,
• receive an ENHANCE Degree Label upon successful completion.
Available Thematic Paths
Urban Policy (Politecnico di Milano & Technische Universität Berlin)
A track for students who want to go beyond traditional planning and learn how to navigate complex urban transformations. It combines a polytechnic foundation with strong coordination skills, building a professional profile sought after in public administration, consultancy, real estate, and environmental and social policy sectors.
Urban Design (RWTH Aachen University)
A design-oriented track grounded in European urban contexts. It develops the ability to analyse socio-economic processes in space and to work critically with territorial data. A sequence of design studios at neighbourhood, city, and regional scales strengthens methodology, responsibility, and the capacity to create implementable transformation scenarios.
Landscape and Urban Planning (Universitat Politècnica de València – UPV)
A flexible, curated set of courses in urban planning and landscape planning/design delivered over one or two semesters. Students can build an individual pathway from a wide selection of ENHANCE pre-approved courses and, optionally, complement it with a Master’s thesis research period or a short-term mobility activity.
Environmental Planning (Warsaw University of Technology)
A track combining sustainability, digital technologies, and strategic thinking in spatial planning. It focuses on modern tools and the practical competencies needed to design resilient solutions for cities, regions, and ecosystems, supported by a ready-to-use list of ENHANCE pre-approved courses.
Build an international profile and a clear specialisation with a transparent recognition pathway.
