Main task of the course is to acknowledge students with contemporary rules of architectural monuments' conservation and its' implementations. First part of the course is focused on conservation theories' development in Europe to present-day. The other part of the course is about basic technical issues and techniques of conservatin activities undertaken as a part of works on architectural monuments. The issues are depicted during classes with many case studies from Western Europe and Poland.
