The classes are focused on main architectural trends of the end of 19th century and 20th century, mainly in Poland. The goal of the class is to introduce students to beginning and development of modern architecture and issues related to contemporary use of it. A big part of the class is dedicated to present-day transformations. Part of the classes are conducted in form of discussion as well as field trips using the potential of Gdańsk and Gdynia's historic architecture. Lectures and workshops are conducted by several lecturers who specialize scientifically in presented issues.
