Thanks to nearly three years of work, the Sectoral Council for Competences for the architecture and urban planning sector was established.

The Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy appointed the Faculty of Architecture’s staff - Paulina Duch-Żebrowska and Prof. Robert Idem - as members of the Sectoral Council for the 2025-2029 term. Paulina Duch-Żebrowska, as a facilitator of the Council, was key in its creation and in obtaining funding for its operation in the amount of 3.9 million PLN.

These funds will allow for research on the educational needs of the economic sector, as well as for understanding the competences required by workers and students preparing for work in the industry.

The Sectoral Council for Competences is an expert team that diagnoses labor-market needs and supports the development of modern competences in the sector. It cooperates with universities, employers, and public institutions to adapt education and qualifications to the real challenges of the profession.
