Eco-Innovation Center at Gdansk Tech
On January 21, 2025, Prof. Dsc. PhD. Eng. Arch. Antoni Taraszkiewicz, the chief designer of the Eco-Innovation Center at WILiŚ, delivered a lecture on the newly constructed building located in the heart of the Gdańsk University of Technology campus.

As part of the "Building Systems for Architects" course, students from the Faculty of Architecture at Gdańsk University of Technology visited the building, learning about the concept behind its creation and the technologies used in its construction.

The Eco-Innovation Center building incorporates eco-friendly technologies, such as photovoltaic panels, a green roof, heat pumps, greywater recovery systems, and smart BMS (Building Management System) controls. The center is an example of sustainable architecture, equipped with photovoltaic systems, rainwater recovery systems, and energy-efficient LED lighting.

The event was organized in cooperation with the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Gdańsk University of Technology.
