Congratulations to our students for receiving an honorable mention in the international architectural competition Kaira Looro!

The proposed maternity center in Senegal aims to create a sanctuary for pregnant women, combining functionality with a nurturing environment. The entrance serves as a transitional space between the exterior and interior of the facility, featuring a reception area and a waiting space.

The interior includes a maternity ward, consultation rooms, and a sterile section with neonatal rooms, operating theaters, and a staff room. The project also features a communal area for mothers with an outdoor kitchen and a garden with a well.

The construction materials were selected for sustainability and accessibility, and the building process includes key steps to ensure efficient and high-quality execution.
