Professor Lucyna Nyka in the Council for Scientific Excellence
The Council for Scientific Excellence (RDN) has published the results of its elections for the 2024-2027 term. Among those appointed to the Council is Professor Lucyna Nyka, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture. Professor Nyka will serve on the Engineering and Technical Sciences Team in the discipline of architecture and urban planning. Prof Andrzej Seweryn, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Shipbuilding, will sit on the Team.

The Council for Scientific Excellence is an independent body whose purpose is to assess, monitor and advise on issues related to science, research and scientific development. Among the council's tasks are promoting scientific and research excellence, assessing the quality of research, overseeing the process of awarding degrees, or making recommendations and advising on issues related to scientific development.
