The subject of the course is to develop a project ending education at this level of study. The prepared work is the basis for obtaining a professional title and is an indicator of the maturity of a university graduate. Classes involve cooperation with a promoter who will help to direct and determine the scope of the project.

Topics of theses:

  • Design issues of buildings with an educational function
  • Design issues of buildings with an exhibition function
  • Design issues of buildings with a sports and recreational function
  • Design issues of buildings with a transport function, e.g. railway and aviation
  • Design issues of buildings with a theatrical function
  • The issue of revitalization
  • Design issues of buildings with other public utility functions not mentioned above
  • Design issues of buildings and urban spaces in an interdisciplinary context

Scope of classes:

  • Theoretical recognition of the subject of the diploma project.
  • Development of bibliographic material.
  • Development of urban and spatial assumptions as well as design guidelines.
  • Development of an initial utility and functional program.
  • Preparation of a text study of the problem - 10-15 pages of text (40-60 thousand characters + possibly illustrations) related to the subject of the diploma project.
