In case of recruiting less than 30 students, the field of study may not be opened.
Candidates for the field Master of Architecture in English are obliged to deliver all the required documentation in the recruting procedure as well as portfolio in digital version (see the details in appendix: components of portfolio).
A candidate applying for second-cycle (Master’s) studies in Architecture is obliged, in addition to submitting the documents specified by the recruitment procedure, to present a digital PORTFOLIO (A3 and A4 size pages saved as a single .pdf file uploaded to the eRecruitment system, and then delivered on a data storage media), in accordance with the requirements specified in the faculty's admission regulations.
Appendix: components of portfolio
The main objective of education is to prepare the graduates – with the degree of Master of Science, Engineer, Architect, to start their own creative professional work and to equip them with basic knowledge allowing for flexible adjustment to changing needs within their professional work.At the end of their education, the graduates should be prepared to: start their professional work in the area of various architecture and urbanism-related tasks, realised individually or in project teams, cooperate with the specialists in other technical, nature-oriented, economy-oriented, art sciences or humanities and to coordinate all activities in the area of programming, planning and realising investments.
The graduates are prepared to: start creative work in the area of urban and architectural design, to get the permits required by law and to perform independent roles in construction, design or supervising construction works in the area of architecture, to coordinate works in multi-disciplinary project teams, to manage offices specialising in architectural or urban designs, to run business activity and to start research-related work.
Admission for this field of study will be provided for a group of 30 students according the resolution of the Senate of the Gdansk University of Technology nr 177/2014/XXIII of, the Act of 26 March 2014 where the total limit for the field of Architecture is 180 persons.
