Regulation for full-time master studies
According to the decision of the Faculty Council of 21st of June 2016, the master diploma thesis at the Faculty of Architecture GUT may be admitted to defence only after fulfilling the following requirements:
The diploma thesis should be done in clear graphical technique, on the rigid paperboard of the size 100 cm x 70 cm /8-10 architectural boards/. The architectural boards must be decreased from the
A-3 format to A-4 and tight up into the diploma thesis with the descriptive part. The descriptive part must be in duplex printing
The dyplomant is obliged to submit into the dean’s Office the following documents:
1/Diploma readiness card for the public defence, signed by: the diploma supervisor, reviewer, Head of the department and three other consulting specialists along with the statement on compliance with copyright
2/the Title page of the diploma descriptive part with the signature of the diploma supervisor
3/Statementprinted from the MyPG system Diploma ThesisStatement, added to the descriptive part of the diploma thesis, after the title page
4/fulfilled and signed by the diploma supervisor formula called ”Weryfikacja dyplomu magisterskiego” (in polish version) accessible at the faculty webpage, added to the diploma description part after the Statement
5/the original version of the certificate of completion of the month pre-diploma practice
6/1 original version of diploma thesis
7/1 original example of the supervisor’s opinion of the diploma thesis (the second example must be submitted one week ahead with the paperboards to a given place /room)
8/2 CD-ROM discs with the copied JPG or PDF format boards (all the pages, and 2;3;4 fulfilled and duly signed)
9/4 photos (4,5cm x 6,5 cm) in formal clothes, on photographic paper only! –DO NOT SIGN THEM!!!!
10/proof of payment for the diploma invoice -60 PLN
11/1 original of reviewer’s opinion delivered to the dean’s office no later than 3 days before the diploma defence, second original must be delivered to the diploma thesis hanged next to the boards
12/additional information, diplomas, certificates and awards that may be used in the supplement
ALL THE SUBJECTS FROM THE 3 SEMESTER MUST BE PASSED IN THE SYSTEM MYPG BY THE DAY OF SUBMITTING OF THE DOCUMENTS TO THE DIPLOMA THESIS DEFENCE
Students of Architecture MSc studies in English are obligated to download the so called KARTA GOTOWOŚCI DO OBRONY (see below Karta gotowości do obrony i oświadczenie.doc)
and send it back via mail to: malbogda@pg.edu.pl by 2nd of March 2018 with their personal data, address, mail contact, thesis topic, name and surname of the supervisor.
During the third semester the students collect all the signatures of the leading teachers from Interdisciplinary Diploma Consultations at the same KARTA GOTOWOŚCI DO OBRONY, which finally must be delivered with all the required documents to defend the diploma thesis to room 313 in the announced time.

Students of I semester of MsC studies
from 16 May 2017 you must choose the diploma department/ with a diploma supervisor
I ROUND – REGISTARTION IN THE DEANS OFFICE 16-19 MAY 2017
• According to the internal regulations at Faculty of Architecture, 50% of the available places in each Department are taken by the students with the highest weighted average from the undergarduate studies
• The list of admitted students in the I round will be placed on the board in front of the deans office and on the website on 22 May 2017.
II ROUND - REGISTARTION IN THE DEPARTMENTS 25-30 MAY 2017
• From 25-30 May 2017 the admission for the rest of the left places in the diploma department (to fill the limit) – REGISTRATION IN THE DEPARTMENTS
• On 2 June 2017 the announcement of the final list of the diploma departments chosen by the students
THE CHOICE OF DIPLOMA DEPARTMENT CANNOT BE CHANGED AFTERWARDS

Department of Urban Architecture and Waterscapes:
Architectural Waterscapes Studio - 23 places for polish stud /5 for English group
Architecture of Healthcare Studio – 18 places for polish stud /4 for English group
Department of Environmental Design – 15 places for polish stud /3 for English group
Department of Urban Design and Regional Planning – 23 places for polish stud /5 for English group
Department of History, Theory of Architecture and Conservation of Monuments – 12 places for polish stud /3 for English group
