Master's Thesis Exam Card

During the third semester the students collect all the signatures of the leading teachers from interdisciplinary diploma consultations at the same Master's Thesis Exam Card, which must be delivered with all the required documents to defend the diploma thesis to room 313 in the announced time.

Submission of documents on defense readiness

The submission of the complete set of documents for defense readiness takes place after prior appointment via the queue system.

Please read the list of documents and materials that should be submitted. We also ask for special care that the documents are complete.

List of documents (in white folder):

  • original of the certificate of undergraduate internship,
  • booklet with essay and description, with attached sheets in A3 format, folded to A4,
  • verification card signed by the supervisor,
  • defense readiness card, completed and signed by the graduate student.

Signatures confirming specialist consultations may be placed on separate sheets, scans, or in the form of a printed message confirming the consultation from the person who gave them. 

The signature of the supervisor and the reviewer may be submitted in the form of a scan, on the card or in the form of an e-mail message – the supervisor states that he/she admits the diploma thesis for defense, and the reviewer states that he/she accepts the thesis for review.

The electronic statement on the thesis on compliance with copyright is completed by the graduate in the Moja PG system before uploading the file with the thesis.
After uploading the thesis for anti-plagiarism verification (1 week before displaying the boards) the graduate submits the originals of all documents.

According to the regulations of full-time and part-time studies at Gdańsk University of Technology, thesis papers must be submitted by September 30 for second-cycle (master's) studies ending in the summer semester and by April 30 for second-cycle (master's) studies ending in the winter semester.


According to the Regulations of Studies at Gdańsk University of Technology, §25, item 6: The graduate is required to settle all obligations towards Gdańsk University of Technology before receiving their diploma.

The student’s declaration on compliance with copyright laws (Moja PG: Student -> Studies -> Diplomas) must be completed before uploading the file with the thesis.
