The course is a one-semester program of advanced study founded on research and inquiry in architecture as a discipline and as a practice. The course encourages students to develop independent theses related to the design buildings of the complicated functional program. The program aims to equip students with a critical understanding of different modes of creative design activity, conceptual and technical.

- architectural, urban, and cultural issues of public space,
- creating a functional program for collective residential building,
- landscape and environmental issues – variety of approaches and solutions,
- development of graphic presentation for an architectural idea.
