This program is dedicated to people interested in urban and regional planning. In the process of training, a student will gain the basic knowledge regarding the principles of sustainable, intelligent development, with respect to environmental and spatial harmony. The course also allows to understand methods of forecasting and planning the spatial dynamics and growth, principles of preparing planning documents, as well as, to gain knowledge, on how to develop effectively specific areas and rules of pursuing the development and spatial policy at the city, metropolitan, regional, and country levels. The program of the course includes usage of modern computer techniques in monitoring, analyzing, and preparing various investment projects.
Graduates receive professional title of engineer on "Spatial Development", and have knowledge on urban and spatial planning, economics, environmental and social sciences, allowing for active participation in different stages of planning and implementation processes of municipality development, with particular emphasis on spatial development and location of new investments.
The graduates of the bachelor’s course may be employed in companies dealing with spatial planning and urban design, public sector development agencies (ex. municipal or regional agencies), as well as, local branches of government administration.
Finishing the studies allows the graduates for 2nd degree studies continuation.
