He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture Gdańsk Tech in 1950 and received his PhD degree in 1965. He obtained the academic Title of Professor in 1989.
Architect. Member of the Faculty of Architecture Gdańsk Tech since 1951.
From 1982 to 2004 Head of the Department of Housing, Faculty of Architecture Gdańsk Tech.
From 1989 to 2002 Vice-dean for Scientific Researchof the Faculty of Architecture Gdańsk Tech.
From 1952 to 1954 he worked at the Fine Arts School in Gdańsk.
From 1956 to 1957 he worked at the Szczecin University of Technology.
From 1972 he was a member of church commissions related to contemporary sacred art of the Gdańsk diocese, and from 1976 also of the Pelplin diocese.
He was an active member of the Association of Polish Architects SARP (Wybrzeże Branch) where he was a Board member from 1971 to 1974.
He was an active member ofthe Pomeranian District Chamber of Architects.
Author of architectural designs, including:
- religious house with nursery school of the Benedictine Missionary Sisters in Gdańsk-Brzeźno (1993–1999)

- equivalent distinction in the competition for the conceptual urban and architectural design of the Białystok downtown service center (1975)
- 2nd degree distinction in the competition for the development of the conceptual urban and architectural design of the district service center Rubinkowo in Toruń (1975)
- 2nd prize in the architectural and urban design competition for the extension of the Gdańsk Tech (1969)
- 3rd equivalent prize in the competition for the design of the parish church in Nowe Tychy (1958)
- 2nd equivalent prize in the competition for the interior design of the underground station in Warsaw (1953)
He was decorated, among others, with:
